Roadmap
Grouped by what is actually built rather than by date. Dates move; sequence does not.
Phase 0 — Built
The game exists and is tested.
- Shared live market: constant-product pool, 0.3% fee, slippage, liquidity limits, protected reserve floor
- 20-hour rounds on a 24-hour cycle, divided into one-hour sprints
- Field-relative sprint scoring with shrunk-mean round points
- Two-pool reward distribution, eligibility gates and accrual, computed in whole cents
- Stop-loss and take-profit orders executing server-side every tick
- Market signals: liquidity, tape pressure, event-window hype
- Six rival traders with persistent positions and distinct trading styles
- Free spectator access with no wallet
- Hash-chained round audit, post-round replay
- Behavioural automation detection over the audit chain
- PostgreSQL persistence, snapshots, retention, admin dashboard
- Mobile and small-screen layouts
Phase 1 — Mint and Season 1
- Collection mint, 5,555 supply
- Reward pool funded from 10% of net mint proceeds, 30% of royalties received, and treasury TickerHeads
- Game Rewards Multisig established, deposits publicly visible
- Season 1 opens, seasonal payout at close
- Chat moderation shipped before holder chat opens publicly
No activation fee. No token. No cosmetics store. See Season 1.
Phase 2 — Community and Competition Depth
- Crew leaderboards and crew-versus-crew competition
- Cosmetics store: terminal skins, chart themes, profile customisation
- Season pass with a cosmetic reward track
- Expanded profile records and lifetime statistics
- Weekly payouts alongside seasonal, once the cadence is proven
Phase 3 — Open Access and Activation
- Ticker Terminal opens beyond holders — anyone with a wallet can play
- Activation introduced: holders at a discounted rate, non-holders at standard
- Non-holder participation subsidises the holder reward pool, which becomes the core economic utility of a TickerHead
- Activated-holder weighting applies to the pro-rata pool only, never to rank
- Reward pools shift from mint-funded to revenue-funded
Phase 4 — Ecosystem Token and Player Markets
- Ecosystem token launch
- Player-created markets: holders create their own meme tickers, earning points from genuine trading activity on them, with anti-farming limits and a moderation queue
- Prime-time market slots
- Token-denominated cosmetics and upgrades
Phase 5 — Under Consideration
Ideas being explored, none committed:
- Tokenised equity rewards on Robinhood Chain, subject to legal review
- Shorter scored heats within a round
- Public API for third-party leaderboards and analytics
- Mobile app
Known Gaps
Stated plainly, because a roadmap that lists only wins is not useful:
- The scoring model has not yet met a real field. It is calibrated against simulation. Constants such as the dispersion floor will be retuned once real players generate real data.
- Chat has no moderation yet. Holder chat does not open publicly until it does.
- Tokenised equity rewards need legal review before any commitment, in any jurisdiction.
- Player-created markets are the highest-risk feature on this roadmap — they need anti-farming limits and content moderation before launch, or they undermine both scoring and the brand.
