Reward Eligibility
Two gates. You must pass both.
Gate 1 — Trade in at Least Three Scored Sprints
You are scored for a sprint only if you traded during it. You need three or more scored sprints across the season.
This exists to stop a wallet trading once, catching a lucky hour, and drawing from the pool. It is deliberately a count of hours, not trades — twenty trades inside one hour is still one sprint.
A filled stop-loss or take-profit counts as a trade, exactly like a manual sell.
Gate 2 — Finish Above the Reward Floor
Your season points must be above −10.
That is not a typo. The line sits slightly below the field median rather than exactly on it.
Why the floor is below zero
Scoring is zero-centred, so by construction roughly half the field finishes at or below zero every season. A hard cut at zero would pay nothing to half the holders, permanently.
Because reward share is proportional to points, a wallet just under the median naturally receives only a token amount anyway. Moving the line down slightly costs the top performers very little and brings a large group of genuinely participating holders into the pool.
Measured against a realistic 500-player field:
| Qualifying line | Players eligible | Top performer’s payout |
|---|---|---|
| Points > 0 | 55% | baseline |
| Points > −10 | 76% | −3% |
A wallet well below the field still earns nothing.
Who Does Not Qualify
| Why | |
|---|---|
| Traded fewer than 3 sprints | Gate 1 |
| Season points at or below −10 | Gate 2 |
| Never traded | Neither gate |
| Confirmed automation | Fair-play rules |
What Eligibility Does Not Depend On
Surviving. Plenty of players finish a round intact and still score below the field.
Making a profit. Profit is measured against zero; points are measured against everyone else. You can be up on the round and still below the field.
Playing longer. The confidence cap means extra hours add no score on their own.
How many TickerHeads you hold. Never affects points or rank. In Season 1 it does not affect payout either, because activation — and therefore holder weighting — is not live.
Five Players, One Season
| Player | Sprints | Points | Gate 1 | Gate 2 | Eligible |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AYA — beat the field most hours | 6 | +23 | ✅ | ✅ | Yes |
| BEN — matched the field | 5 | 0 | ✅ | ✅ | Yes (small share) |
| CHIO — made money, less than everyone | 4 | −19 | ✅ | ❌ | No |
| DEV — one lucky hour, huge score | 1 | +70 | ❌ | ✅ | No |
| ELI — played longest, below the field | 8 | −13 | ✅ | ❌ | No |
DEV is the case the sprint gate exists for: the highest score of anyone, and no reward.
